Oregon Walks is a proud member of Friends of Rocky Butte, a coalition of dedicated organizations and individuals seeking to secure public access and develop multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and rock climbing in Northeast Portland. Our goal is simple: open up and develop access to one of Portland’s largest urban natural areas.
Rocky Butte is an extinct cinder cone volcano located along the I-205 corridor with mature tree canopy, basalt cliffs, and woodland trails. It is currently overgrown with invasive ivy and filled with debris from extensive camping.
Your support helps us to steward and advocate for recreational access for all.
